The last few days have been a whirlwind of so many different emotions and reactions and tasks. I made the decision and the announcement that after 12 3/4 years, I will be leaving Banner Health to go and work at Medical Center of the Rockies. WOW, it feels weird even to say it. I just thought about something...I better remember to say the right employer when asked where I work. Can't you all picture me messing that one up. Oh boy!!!
A week ago I really did not believe that I would go in on Monday and give notice at a job that I have been at for so many years. It was such a moment of bitter sweet feelings. I am so excited for this new adventure, but yet so sad to leave something that I know so well.
Today I began the process of taking down and loading up some of my "decorations" at my desk, packing up holiday decorations, and doing spring cleaning that should have been done a while ago. In the end I realized that although there are many new adventures ahead of me, I am so thankful for the time I have had with Banner, the people I have met, and the lessons I am taking with me.
